The PCR House is a 6,000 sq ft, Mexican-style ranch house. It is a four bedroom house with a five bed bunk room. The large kitchen and connected living room are perfect for gathering for breakfast and dinner to tell stories of your hunt. The back porch is the place where everyone seems to spend most of their time when they are not hunting. The back porch overlooks the house lake. Guests love to watch the turkeys fly in from their roost in the mornings and fly up to their roost in the evenings. Guests also love to watch the deer traffic below the house during the day.

This barn was built before the PCR House. This barn contains the R.O. System, supply cooler, and a small ice machine. This barn is now the place that hunters store their gear between hunts.
This barn was constructed over the 2010 summer. This is a 15,000 sq ft barn built to store all of the ranches heavy equipment, hunting vehicles, hunting gear, and game processing. Attached to the barn is a two bedroom, 1,500 sq ft house.
Picosa Creek Ranch operates two types of deer pens. Four pens are Scientific Breeder Pens. In these SBP are deer with lineage to some of Texas' great bucks such as Ground Zero, Red Rock, Flaco, Don Juan, Playboy, Amigo, Big Papa Pump, Paco, Tecate, Mighty Scar and Stone Cold.

The DMP pen is used to breed natural deer from the property. Each year, twenty does and one buck are netted and tagged before deer season opens. These are fed protein, alfalfa, and peanuts over the course of the year. The buck in this DMP pen has a greater opportunity to breed with the twenty does in this pen. After twelve months, these 21 deer and their fawns are released back onto the property.

House Lake is located below the PCR House. This lake is stocked with bass and catfish. Turkeys roost in the trees just up the creek. They visit this lake every morning and afternoon.

Fish Pond is stocked stocked with small mouth bass, large mouth bass, and stripped bass. Guests have had luck catching these fish on barbless hooks, flies, bottle caps, and remote control boats.

Twin Lakes are two lakes separated by a large grass field. These lakes are filled with carp and alligator gar. These lakes are ideal for bowfishing.

Laguna Madre was built in 2008. When this lake is full, the water will cover the surrounding trees. This feature brings the ducks in and keeps them all season.
